RETIRING – TIGER ’10

 

Thanks year of the tiger - been a great one!

 

As we prepare our new Chinese New Year ’11 graphic we are retiring our 2010 TIGER screens.  Only a few pieces left so grab one if you want it – if you already own it you can shortly call it “vintage/collectors” as I believe we printed only 150 or so?

Sad to see it go as it had some goooood mojo for us from scoring a photo of the IMWC Macca in it while here on a training camp in Singapore for BPM-Asia to selling it at IM China earlier this year.  Big plans for Chinese New Year 2011 so stay tuned.  FYI Chinese New Year ’11 falls on Feb 3rd.

SPOTTED: Mirinda Carfrae, the reigning Queen.

The newly crowned Ironman World Champion spotted last week in Phuket during  BPM-Sport’s training camp wearing suitably, our Queen K shirt.  The camp was by all accounts a success as was the follow up Q&A session in Singapore last night which saw $5000 raised for charity (managed to contribute a bit with some of our items going for $150  – very exciting).  BPM-sport tweets that Carfrae was a “class act” throughout it all which makes us feel even more grateful for the shot.  Thanks guys!!!

FYI, If you are in Singapore, don’t miss  a BPM-Sport.com sponsored Q&A session with IMWC Rinnie on Monday night 15^th November from 7.30pm at Brewerkz Riverside Point. This is your opportunity to meet the World Champ, find out the inside story on how she won, receive tips and of course share a few laughs with her and friends.  In addition, we are sending along some free swag as door prizes and auction items.  We plan to include our newest, not yet seen T design and brand spankin’ new t-dress.  Proceeds from the auction benefit a wonderful charity supported by ANZA members so do please bring your wallets.  The evening is free but of course donations will also be gladly accepted on the night for this worthy cause.

Trix @ The Starting Line Multisport Store – Philippines.

Very happy to announce that TRIX items are now available at THE STARTING LINE MULTISPORT STORE in the Philippines.  The new multisport store can be found at Westgate Center, Alabang (Manilla) and during it’s soft launch has already piqued the interest of the local community.

We briefly met up with Raoul Floresca on a sourcing trip here in Singapore last week and were impressed with his plans of building a solid premiere source of multisport gear in the Philippines.  From nutrition to technical gear to apparel, it appears to be  shaping up nicely and we’re thrilled to have a presence there.  Haven recently taken part in the IM 70.3 Phillipines, it’s clear to see that the sport is really growing in the country and we’re excited to watch.

If you’re in their area stop by.. rumor has it there are some free TRIX t-s to be had during their official opening.  Meanwhile we wish the store, “Mabuti Negosyo”.
